Spring has finally arrived!  We are in the midst of setting up our wedding and events for 2010 and 2011.  Not too early to plan for 2011 and 2012 especially if you are going to have over 100 guests. So I thought I would share a few tips.  In order of sequence

For a Wedding: First steps:

• Budget—What do you have to work with now and by the time your wedding occurs.
• Number of people to attend
  • Out of town guests
  • Out of the country guests
• List of must haves, nice to haves
• Colors/theme for the wedding
• Location for the ceremony and reception
• Time to get a Wedding Planner involved

For small parties—less than 100 people-limited budget

• How about renting a private location?
• Maybe someone has a nice home/yard that is available.
• A community park that rents out areas.
• Some parks also have suggestions for catering, games and other available resources.
